Meet Josie

Being a key part of so many peoples businesses not just one I work for - is one of the best things about my job. I am inspired by my colleagues and seeing how passionate they are about their jobs and how they do it with a smile on their face even when times get tough (a regular occurrence at the moment as the freight world is all over the show!)

I have over a decade in the freight industry and hold my Customs Broker PIN. I have experience working in Customs, Customer Services, Cartage and Accounts. I have dealt with various different clients all importing various different products and have a wide knowledge of the NZ Customs Tariff.

When I’m not chasing after my two children, Wynn and Freddie, I’m usually just hanging with friends and family enjoying a bevvie or two (or three LOL). To get downtime, I get up at the crack of dawn and head to the gym which is something I really enjoy doing for myself. 

The best piece of advice I have ever been given is “There is no such thing as a stupid question”.

If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I would probably be… a flight attendant!
